Anthony Underwood Automotive is a dealership run the way a market ought to work: every car described with the same facts in the same order, so you can weigh one against another instead of guessing. We inspect each car before it is listed, photograph it exactly as it stands, and write down whatever it needs. If you have never bought a classic before, say so — we will take it from the beginning.
Three things we will not bend on
The same facts, every car
Mileage, gearbox, colour and condition are listed the same way on every entry, so you can compare like with like rather than guessing what has been left out.
Faults written down
Anything a car needs is in the description before you ask. You will not find something on the driveway that we already knew about in the workshop.
One person throughout
Whoever answers the phone handles your purchase to the end. No being passed between departments, and no starting the story again each time.
Questions people ask
I have never bought a classic before.
You are in good company — most of our customers had not either. Ask us anything, however basic it seems, and take as long as you need over it.
Can I see more photographs first?
Of course. Ring us and we will send close-ups of whatever you want to see, or film a walkaround with a cold start and a look underneath.
Do I have to travel to collect?
No. We arrange insured transport to your door anywhere in the country.
What if something needs attention later?
Ring us. We would far rather hear from you than have you struggling on your own with it.
