Terms of Service
These terms govern access to the platform, bidder accounts, auction participation, payment and post-sale obligations.
1. Who we are
These terms are between you and Anthony Underwood Automotive (4006 Bessemer Super Hwy, Bessemer, AL 35020), operating the Anthony Underwood Automotive website at anthonyunderwood.com. Contact: [email protected], .
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into binding contracts. Information you give at registration must be accurate, current and complete.
3. Accounts and verification
Bidding needs identity verification with a government-issued photo ID. Until your account is approved you may browse, save lots, request reports and use Buy Now. You are responsible for your credentials and everything done under your account.
4. Bidding
Every bid is a binding offer to buy. A winning bidder is expected to complete the purchase at the winning amount plus the applicable fees, taxes and any transport charges that were disclosed. Bids cannot be withdrawn once placed. Proxy bids place bids for you up to the maximum you set.
A closing bid is not final until Anthony Underwood Automotive confirms the sale. We may cancel, suspend or correct an auction after a technical fault, suspected fraud, incorrect lot information or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
5. Buy Now and offers
Buy Now and offers are requests to buy. A sale is not complete until the office confirms availability and receives payment in full. More than one person may request the same lot; the office decides how the vehicle is sold.
6. Fees and payment
The buyer owes the winning amount plus the auction fee, agent fee and any taxes, title and registration charges, documentation costs or transport charges that apply. Payment is due within 48 hours of confirmation unless the office confirms otherwise in writing. Payment methods are confirmed on your invoice.
7. Title and pickup
Title paperwork proceeds after payment clears in full. We coordinate paperwork and release instructions; delays caused by carriers, lienholders, government offices or couriers are outside our control. Alabama title and registration requirements depend on the vehicle and the buyer; confirm with the office and your county licensing office.
8. Condition of vehicles
Lots are described as accurately as we can from inspection and the information we hold, and unknowns are marked as such. Review the photos, condition notes and any reports before bidding, and ask your specialist about anything unclear. [Counsel to confirm the as-is / disclaimer wording appropriate for Alabama.]
9. Conduct
- No shill bidding, auction manipulation or coordinated bidding.
- No bots, scraping, credential sharing or unauthorised access.
- No redistribution of site content without written permission.
- Nothing that interferes with other buyers or the platform.
10. Intellectual property
Lot photography, descriptions, logos, software and design belong to or are licensed to Anthony Underwood Automotive and may not be copied or adapted without written permission.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Anthony Underwood Automotive and its staff are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform or from a vehicle purchase. [Counsel to confirm limits and indemnity wording.]

13. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here or sent by email. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.
